AMAZING TRIP to Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego! Photos from our previous tours here

ARGENTINA+CHILE

We are all children of Captain Grant! "Thank you Jules Verne for the dream you gave us, thank you world for making it is real." For the first time we heard about Patagonia in childhood and this place seemed somehow fantastic and distant, and the adventures that the heroes of the book went through inspired us to travel and, perhaps, became the main landmark in our lives, leading us to where we are now - on the road of adventure.

Patagonia is the territory of Chile and Argentina, an incredibly beautiful land that attracts travelers from all over the world. Here you will find majestic mountains reaching into the azure sky and endless giant glaciers - the only ones in the world that do not melt, but grow, incredibly beautiful lakes, you will meet funny guanacas and penguins. Here your dreams can come true and new ones can appear.

We are going to Patagonia in autumn, when the colours are already becoming fantastic and unreal, the number of tourists is decreasing, and the trails are freer, but at the same time the weather still spoils us with warm and long daylight hours.

There is a lot of beauty and amazing emotions waiting for us on this journey, if you are ready to go on the most exciting adventure in your life, feel free to check the program
Travel to Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, the grand adventure begins right now!

PROGRAM
DAY 1
Arrival in Buenos Aires. Argentine sun and steak
We meet in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, where European elegance and South American temperament merge into one. We meet the participants at the airport, get to the hotel and let the body adapt to the change in time zone.

During the day, we will walk through the colorful neighborhoods, feel the atmosphere of the city and enjoy the first Argentine sun. In the evening, we will arrange a cozy dinner-acquaintance in one of the best restaurants with Argentine steaks. We will discuss the program, get to know each other better and tune in to our big southern adventure.

Night at the hotel in Buenos Aires.
DAY 2 - ARGENTINA
Moving to Patagonia - El Calafate, the city of turquoise lakes and flamingos
In the morning we have breakfast, get ready and fly south to El Calafate, the gateway to Argentine Patagonia. Already on the plane you can see endless expanses, mountains and glaciers - it takes your breath away at first sight.

After checking in, we will have the whole day to get to know this cozy and lively town. We walk along the streets with wooden houses, go into shops with woolen sweaters and souvenirs, look into the park, where at this time of year you can meet real wild flamingos.

We will definitely go to the shore of the lake - the color of the water here is such that it is impossible to believe that this is not Photoshop. El Calafate is also known for its good-natured street dogs - they seem to greet every guest of the city.

In the evening, we gather in one of the local restaurants: we try juicy lamb over an open fire, share our first impressions and raise glasses of Argentine wine to the beginning of a real southern adventure.

Night in El Calafate.
DAY 3 - CHILE
Moving to Chile - Puerto Natales, a city on the edge of the fjords
After breakfast, we say goodbye to El Calafate and head south, towards the Chilean border. The journey takes several hours, but the views outside the window will not let you get bored - deserted steppes, snow-capped peaks, lonely guanacos and endless sky.

In the afternoon, we arrive in Puerto Natales - a cozy coastal town on the shore of the Ultima Esperanza fjord. Here you can feel the real Chilean character: simplicity, warmth and a little severity. Narrow streets with houses painted in pastel colors, cafes overlooking the water, the smell of fish and smoke from fireplaces, knitted hats on every second passerby.

We walk around the city, look into shops for woolen socks, thermoses and souvenirs, listen to street musicians and slowly get into the rhythm of Patagonia.

In the evening, dinner in one of the cozy restaurants, where they serve fresh fish, crabs and wine from the Maule Valley. Tomorrow we will have an active part of the trip, and today - a well-deserved Chilean "immersion in the rhythm" against the backdrop of mountains and water.

Night in Puerto Natales.
DAY 4 - CHILE
First acquaintance with Torres del Paine - a world where mountains are reflected in lakes
Today, we begin our immersion in the natural beauty of Chile. After breakfast, we get into the cars and head towards Torres del Paine Park, one of the most beautiful natural parks in the world. The road is picturesque: endless steppes, turquoise lakes, sharp peaks on the horizon and lonely guanacos grazing by the road.

At the entrance to the park, we register and get acquainted with the rules: this is a protected area with unique nature that is important to protect.

We will dedicate this day to our first acquaintance with the park. We stop at the main viewing points: here the mountains are reflected in the mirror-like water, glaciers slide into bays, and the wind carries the smell of freshness and freedom. We will stop for photos, drink mate, enjoy the scenery and freeze hundreds of times from the beauty and delight - because it is hard to believe that all this is real.

For lunch, we will stop at a restaurant with panoramic windows and a view of the Gray Glacier. Being here is an event in itself, and enjoying the excellent cuisine and great company is a real delight. Afterwards, we will take a walk to the Mirador Cuernos viewpoint - a short route to the foot of the famous "Horns" (Cuernos del Paine), with stunning views of the mountains and lakes.

Towards evening, we move to a small family hotel near the park, have dinner and rest before tomorrow's trek.
Day 5 - CHILE
Torres del Paine Park
Mirador Base Las Torres
When you hear about Torres del Paine, you probably remember the photos of the most famous place in the park - the observation deck at the foot of the towers. Our goal today is this view from the shore of the turquoise lake. A wonderful nature trail awaits us, combining a variety of natural landscapes. You can get to the lake at the foot of the towers in 8 hours (there and back). We will leave early in the morning to avoid crowds on the trail. Even though we will be going at the end of the season, it is worth playing it safe.

We spent the night near the park

Difficulty Medium
Day 6 - CHILE / ARGENTINA
Laguna Azul, cute guanacos and the best viewpoints of Torres Del Paine
We will dedicate the day to new breathtaking views, we hope we will not have an overdose of beauty.
Along the way we will come across several beautiful waterfalls Salto Grande and Cascada Paine. Then we will head to Laguna Azul.

Laguna Azul is a beautiful lagoon located in the eastern part of the Torres del Paine National Park. This is the first place visited by Lady Florence Dixie, the first tourist to visit the park in 1879. This British explorer actually published a drawing of this landscape in her book "Through Patagonia", where she mentions that the towers are "Cleopatra's needles".

And it is true that Laguna Azul offers absolutely magical views of the granite towers, especially if you hike to the Sierra Masle viewpoint, which is just an hour's walk from the official Laguna Azul parking lot.

In the evening we move to El Calafate - Argentina
DAY 7 - ARGENTINA
Perito Moreno Glacier
We will dedicate the whole day today to the most beautiful glacier in the world - Perito Moreno, the only glacier on the planet that does not decrease, but grows. Perito Moreno is located in the Los Glaciares National Park. We will look at this ice giant from different sides and platforms, we will listen to its guttural, dull crack and wait for the next blue block to break off and noisily fall into the transparent blue water. Only in this park you can watch how pieces of ice, the size of a five-story building, crumble into fragments and raise waves, like huge icebergs.

Our day will be filled with a variety of emotions and sensations, we will feel like tiny parts of a great and changeable world, we will experience childish delight, a deep sense of joy and even melancholy. It would seem that at first glance, ordinary frozen water can affect our feelings and emotions.

We will also sail along the lagoon on a boat to see the beauty of the ice walls from the water. As you get closer to Perito Moreno, you feel the cold breath of this silent giant more acutely.

In the evening, we move to El Chalten, a lovely tourist town with craft bars and cozy restaurants against the backdrop of the dramatic Fitz Roy mountain range. Here we will be offered local Argentinean food, and meat lovers will be able to try the most delicious grilled beef asado.
DAY 8 - ARGENTINA
Fitzroy
Wake up early and after a delicious breakfast set off on a hike to three mountain lagoons located at the foot of the Fitz Roy massif.

From start to finish, the hike up Mount Fitz Roy is filled with incredible scenery. There are breathtaking views of the river valley, mountain panoramas, shady forests and sparkling lakes. Our trail will wind through shady, magical forest, cross wild rivers and then rush up the rocky landscape right onto a stone plateau. The highlight of the hike will be the view of the glacier-capped Fitz Roy, one of the most recognizable mountains in Patagonia, towering over Laguna de los Tres, a turquoise lake at its base. The view is a stunning reward for the long and sometimes difficult hike up Fitz Roy.

We spend the night in El Chalten

Length 26 km
Difficulty moderate
DAY 9 - ARGENTINA
Hiking to Cerro Torre
Cerro Torre (3128 meters) is a majestic peak and one of the main symbols of Patagonia, located on the border of Argentina and Chile.
This hike can also be considered one of the most epic in Patagonia. It opens up other facets of the Los Glaciares Natural Park for us, first of all, we will see the magnificent peak of Cerro Torre, whose name translates as a mountain tower, or Needle, and secondly, an incredible glacier spread out at the foot of this unusual mountain.

The route to Cerro Torre is a little shorter in mileage than the hike to Mount Fitz Roy, but no less rich in views and breathtaking panoramas.

Length 19 km
Route difficulty Easy-medium
DAY 10
Tierra del Fuego
We have breakfast and say goodbye to cozy El Chaltén.
Today, we’re heading to the edge of the world — Tierra del Fuego, the legendary Land of Fire.
We travel to El Calafate and take a flight to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world.

A simple, yet special day awaits. We’ll stop for a bite at the southernmost café on the planet, stroll through the streets beyond which lies nothing but icy wilderness, and stand at the southernmost crossroads of South America. The crisp air of Tierra del Fuego fills our lungs, reminding us how far we’ve come — and how wild this place truly is.

In the evening, we unwind at a local craft beer restaurant overlooking the port and mountains. Juicy meat, fresh fish, and seafood — a dinner full of flavor and character, just like this day.

Tonight, we sleep in a hotel at the end of the world, where the continent fades into the sea and Antarctica begins.
A journey through Tierra del Fuego is more than just geography — it’s a feeling of total freedom that stays with you forever.
DAY 11 - TIERRA DEL FUEGO
Penguins, Bridges Island, and the world's southernmost lighthouse
Today you will have the opportunity to go on a real sea voyage, see incredible mountain peaks from the water, watch birds, sea lions and visit the cutest inhabitants of these lands - penguins. A cozy ship will pass through the channel with the funny name Beagle and moor at Martillo Island, where large colonies of penguins are located. We will also be able to see a very atmospheric lighthouse, which is considered the southernmost lighthouse in the world.
If we are lucky, we will be able to watch whales and condors, who are the real masters of these lands.

We will have lunch in a cool crab restaurant, and devote the second half of the day to exploring the city.
DAY 12 - FAREWELL TO TIERRA LA REGION
In the morning we will have time to walk around Ushuaia again to look for new graffiti or to visit a wonderful museum, which contains the history of Tierra del Fuego: bright, often tragic and very interesting, from local legends to the time when Ushuaia was a real camp for criminals and unwanted people. Then we will buy souvenirs and even be able to send the southernmost postcard from the southernmost city, bought at the southernmost post office.
A plane to Buenos Aires will be waiting for us at lunch.

This is where our journey through Patagonia ends, but this does not mean that we are saying goodbye forever :)
