DAY 1 Zurich
We leave Prague early in the morning. We are rushing closer to Switzerland. This will be one of the longest, but also incredibly beautiful journeys; part of the route passes along winding mountain roads! Our main goal is the Alps, so we have lunch on the road, enjoy the views from the car window and get to our first stop - Zurich.
Zurich is the capital of the canton of Zurich and the largest city in Switzerland. Situated on the Limmat River and Lake Zurich, it is considered the banking capital of the country and one of the most important financial centers in the world.
We will have enough time to walk along its ancient streets, try local cuisine and sit on the embankment by the water.
In the evening we move to our overnight stay. We relax, get to know each other, and discuss plans for the coming week.
DAY 2 Ice adventure. Rosenlaui
On this day, we will go high into the mountains, where the water has frozen in the ever-blue ice massif. Glacier Gorge Rosenlaui is a UNESCO World Heritage list.
The Rosenlaui Valley is famous not only for its glaciers and mountain cirques, it is rich in incredible natural views
We will be in this valley all day long. We will make pictures, drink water from a mountain river and hit the road to our main goal.
A winding mountain path will lead us through a coniferous, cool forest and direct us along a stormy mountain river. All the way we will be accompanied by the roar of water and the ringing of alpine bells, which are carried by local charming sheep. At the end of the trip you will see a real blue glacier, look at the patterns that it leaves on the rocks, you will feel yourself a small part of this vast world
P.S. Lunch cooked on a campfire will add a special taste to the journey.
In the evening we will go to the place of our next overnight stay.
We will drink tea and discuss the beauty that we managed to see
DAY 3 Turquoise of Oeschinensee
We wake up early in the morning and go to Kandersteg
The lake is located at an altitude of 1600 meters, surrounded by steep cliffs, the snowy peaks of which are reflected in the turquoise water mirror, it seems to be drawn. The Oeschinensee has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2007.
You will go up to the lake on electric cars (8 euros per person) and trekking will start at the top.
The route along the lake is incredibly beautiful: mountain paths, cliffs, steep slopes and green forests - all this leaves an unforgettable impression.
At the end of the route, everyone can try real fresh alpine milk :)
We dine on the shore of the lake. We make a fire, get comfortable and enjoy the beauty and clean air. It is proved that making food on a real Swiss grill will be especially tasty after a good walk in the mountains :)
The bravest will be able to swim)
We return to the apartments

DAY 4 Brienz-rothorn-bahn
Today you will travel on an old steam locomotive high into the mountains, where your eyes will see a panorama of many snowy peaks: two-thousanders and four-thousanders. This place makes the heart skip a beat with happiness, it is so beautiful there. If the sky is clear, we will see the famous Swiss peaks - Jungfrau and Eiger.
At the station there is a cozy restaurant with a panoramic view, where we can have a cup of coffee with a fresh croissant and relax a bit before an interesting mountain hike. On this day, we will make a picturesque hike along the Brienz ridge, which will open the real Swiss Alps for you. We will walk along a winding rocky path, take a lot of photos, see alpine cows, listen to the wind and ringing of bells, all the way we will be accompanied by a view of a turquoise mountain lake and snowy peaks. After lunch we will return back to the city of Brienz.

DAY 5 Lauterbrunnen and Trummelbachfelle waterfall
Today we will go to the city that once inspired Tolkien - Lauterbrunnen (it is also called the valley of 70 waterfalls). Here the writer decided exactly how the city of the elves - Rivendell - would look like. We will spend the whole day in the valley.
We can have a leisurely coffee with dessert in one of the cozy restaurants of this alpine village. Next - we will visit the impressive Trummelbachfelle waterfall - powerful and noisy, the water falls from a great height in a rocky grotto.
In Lauterbrunnen you will have free time. We will tell you where you can go and what to see, maybe you decide to just walk along the valley, enjoying its unhurried and fabulous atmosphere, or maybe go up on one of the funiculars and see the highland villages. We believe that a trip to Lauterbrunnen is a visiting card of Switzerland, so you will have enough time to try to understand this place.
Toward evening we will go towards Zermat.
DAY 6 Hike to Riffelsee and Matterhorn

We will leave the car in the parking in the town of Täsch and head to the mountaineering alma mater by train. We will spend the whole day in this eco-friendly place. Zermatt will be our starting point in the way to the foot of the Matterhorn, namely the Riffelsee lake.
This is one of our favorite places in Switzerland, we advise you to take a Tableron chocolate with you to take a picture against the backdrop of the famous mountain depicted on its wrapper)
